Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when it rains?
In the event that a storm rolls through, we move everyone to the covered pavilions where we play games while the storm passes; all camp counselors monitor lightning activity in the area and are not allowed on the beach until there has been no lightning strikes within 20 minuets in a 7 mile radius.
Sunscreen?
We do provide reef safe sunscreen but it is highly recommended to bring your own as we go through a lot of sunscreen here; we take a sunscreen break every hour on the hour.
Lunch?
Pack a lunch and snacks Monday-Thursday; Fridays we provide lunch, it is recommended to bring snacks on Friday.
Water?
Every hour on the hour we go up to rehydrate as well as reapply sunscreen.
First-Aid?
Counselors are CPR/AED certified, on-site lifeguard at all times.
First Time Surfing?
If you’ve never surfed before then you came to the right place! No prior experience is required, all that is required is the ability to swim.
No waves?
No problem! We have a wide variety of games to play and activities like fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and much more for those days when there’s no waves!
What to bring?
Refillable water bottle, rashguard, sunscreen, lunch (Mon-Thurs), snacks, a towel, dry clothes.
